
The Energy Efficiency program at Ecotech Institute is a two year, Associate of Applied Science degree. It is practical and designed with employer input to give you a broad overview of the field of energy efficiency and how it applies specifically to a career in the new green economy.
This dynamic program provides coursework and instruction geared towards how to analyze energy usage for residential and commercial buildings, recommend sustainable energy solutions for high consumption structures, recognize and correct inefficient building energy systems, and more. Along the way, you will receive instruction on the basics of energy-efficient hot water systems, photovoltaic and solar energy, and other technology as well as how to analyze and recommend suitable renewable energy systems to not only meet the needs of the user, but to be environmentally sound.
