Some of today's most exciting legal work is in the fast-moving world of environmental law. Environmental Paralegal studies at Ecotech Institute prepare you to assist lawyers who do this important work.

A paralegal's main responsibility is to help lawyers get ready for hearings, trials, and closings. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), paralegals investigate facts, organize relevant information, research applicable laws, and prepare reports. Paralegals often investigate cases to make sure that lawyers know all of the important facts.

What is an Environmental Paralegal?

An Environmental Paralegal is a law professional who assists a lawyer who specializes in environmental law. These paralegals may work on a wide range of environmental cases, including those related to endangered species or incorrect disposal of hazardous materials.

The Environmental Paralegal studies program at Ecotech Institute is designed to prepare you for a career utilizing knowledge of legal procedures, delivery of legal services, and legal research and writing. The program provides training in professional skills, general education, technical competencies and research experience, which are used in the environmental paralegal field.
