Sustainable Interior Design
Certificate Program
From 2009 to 2013, the green building industry will add more than $554 billion to the U.S. gross domestic product.
That means additional design talent is needed to assure the interior environment of buildings is as sustainable as their site, envelope, and systems.
The Sustainable Interior Design certificate program at Ecotech Institute is for those who have already mastered the fundamental skills and technologies of interior design and wish to further their education exploring the issues, challenges, and opportunities associated with green design and sustainable living.
A four-year degree in interior design is required for entry into this program. Preference is given to those individuals from CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) accredited programs.
Students enjoy well maintained facilities, modern labs, and small class sizes--all geared to help them apply theory to the real world.
Our Sustainable Interior Design program might be right for you if you...
- have a four-year degree in interior design.
- are passionate about improving the environment through design.
- want to learn sustainable interior design.
- want to work on LEED-qualified building projects.
The Sustainable Interior Design certificate program is designed to serve those who have already mastered the fundamental skills and technologies of interior design and wish to further their education exploring the issues, challenges, and opportunities associated with green design and sustainable living.
